Boise River Float

Nothing can be more relaxing then floating down the Boise River on a warm summer day. The path includes some mild rapids and a few drops, but nothing extreme.

If you would like to go on this adventure my suggestion would be to catch the shuttle from Ann Morrison Park to Barber Park where you can rent a tube, drop it in the water and off you go. The area where you will exit the river is well marked. When you arrive back in Ann Morrison Park you simply hand the tube to the attendant, walk to your car and head out for lunch.

Alcohol and glass are prohibited on the river, but a plastic water bottle is recommended to stay hydrated.

Additionally, take a Ziploc bag for your car keys and leave a dry towel in your car for when you return.

The river water is a bit cool so pick a warm day.
